I’d like to share my experience to others and take a note for myself on what a professional certificate course I used to attend is like.

Disclaimer: This is my personal views and the conditions for selecting a CSPO course. If you’d like to see what is the class like. Please see these articles 👉CSPO Training — Day 1 and 👉 CSPO training — Day 2

My conditions for selecting a class are:

  1. To open my eyes — See what are others white collars, who are a position of product manager, business analyst or project manager, like. And to observe people in an attractive destinations of multinational companies in APAC.
  2. Traveling — after tremendous waves of COVID since 2020, this was my very first traveling overseas. Then, attending a training abroad was my top priority.

Therefore, my first step was to search for an appropriate course that I can afford and take only 1–3 hours traveling on Scrum Alliance website.

Finally, I got a course in Singapore, and fortunately the instructor for this course is Pete Deemer from goodagile.com. Pete’s one of the authors of Scrum Primer, as well as The Distributed Scrum Primer. Moreover, most of his experience has been related to software products and services with more than twenty years. Lastly, it’d be a good chance to meet and discuss with my classmates and most of them are from multicultural companies. That’re all so interesting, right?😁😀😃

Note 1: For anyone who is hesitating about which certificate or path is suitable for you; CSM or CSPO, you can take an assessment on ScrumAlliance website to see the result. There are, a coach or the one who gives guidance and/or appropriate techniques for a team will run through a project or to overcome any setback or risk like a Scrum Master, or a Customers/ Users Representative to lead and walk through with a team for delivering the great outcomes to support your customers like a Product Owner.

Note 2: CSPO course, is a certificate of attendance issued by “Scrum Alliance” which anyone can get this certificate after attending the class, participating to the activities and assignments for more than 80%.
